Stereo fitting

just wondering if its possible to fit my alpine cd player into my y reg cupra, obviously i need an adapter lead and different facia, are these available?

Yeh it does take some time to do mate and alot of patience. Aslo requires it being wired in as you cant take off the connections from the standard unit or you'l lose the aircon/heater controls. If you quite good with wiring and customising then you'l be aboe to do it with ease but if not i would seek someone that does.

looks good, im quite clued up with ice installs so should be able to whip summit up, my changer doesnt work in the boot thats why i wondered, can you get an mp3 compatible changer to work with standard stereo? my mates mk4 golf has an mp3 changer with standard headunit

The only way of fitting a normal din stereo to the mk3 is either in the glove box or under the steering colum like i did

Not at all, hooch has done a few conversions where you can have it where the tape player is, sombody from here done it so it sat in the roof lining looking fantastic. Just another couple of options for you ;)
