they have either said i'll call you back or we have ordered one ..... suprise suprise i've never heard back from them

does anyone know if you can get them?
its the male bit which sticks out of the pillar, the clip on the end of the shelf string clips into it

my one has snapped off, not sure if i need a new pillar or not??
anyone know a part number or what i need?

I think i need to hand hold white dove a bit more as they are numpties.....but thats a different subject!

I have just been down to my car to check something and do you know what is nearly a perfect fit and would do the job?.....

Cut off the pin flush and glue on. Doesn't look too different to the OE pin as well

I need one as well but haven't been to order one yet. I might give the pin idea a try

Either that or give FRF a ring in Swansea - they actually ring you back AND get the parts in for you unlike (Sh)white dove.....

Just been down to white dove and spoke to a nice chap.
He gave me one of these clips for free (probably one of the ones i ordered in!)

anyway, for the search facility the details are

PART NUMBER: 1M6 867 574 A
BRACKET

and they are about £1
really simple to install, takes 5 seconds and no new pillar or anything stupid.

well done mark, you finally repaired something yourself!

Well John, it beats the pink fluffy steering wheel cover upgrade you fitted
:D

Took me about 7 months to do that though.
bloody white dove!

....do yourself a favour, if you get through to the parts dept and someone answers called justin, hang up and try again until someone else answers!
