Air Con Default Settings

Ive just got my Ibiza, but it really annoys me that everytime I start it up the Fan and Air Con come on full blast.

Is there anyway to save the default of Air con off and no. 2 on the fan?

IIRC the only time the AC should come on when you start the fan is if you have it directed at the windscreen. As the car assumes you are trying to demist the window so chucks the AC on to help out.

haha took me ages to work that out!!!

Now i know the reasons why it does it...i have to say its a brilliant feature to have the aircon automatically turn on when pointing the air flow control dial to windscreen!

yep, if its set using the Auto button then it will do this when you start it up, as its doing its hardest to get to your climate setting. Ive turned off the auto as its junk anyway, just adjust things manually. if you turn the dial away from windscreen and back again the auto will come though so then i adjust the fan speed down manually and Auto goes of and its still on windscreen.
