I have a 2002 mondeo (yes I know...) and as recently as a month ago bought brand new 18" RS wheels and tyres for it.
Now I'm selling it, but would like to keep the wheels and put them on the Cupra (R) that I'm getting.

I don't think the PCD is the same, but I'm not certain. What is the PCD and offset for the Cupra?

Also, would I be able to have the hubs retapped and threaded to fit the Ford stud pattern, or maybe get spacers/adapters to fit the Ford stud pattern?

I know this isn't the best way of doing this but I'm going to lose a lot on the wheels otherwise.

Any ideas or suggestions??

i think the mondeo wheels are 5x108 and the leon wheels are 5x100. do you think the ford rims will clear the brembo calipers?

the only thing i can sugest is sell wheels on rs owners club they should make good money on there as those wheels are like gold plated rocking horse sh*t:lol:. to be honest never heard of anyone converting from 5 stud to 4 stud normally the otherway round. might be cheaper to get similar style wheels in 5 stud. or get in touch with demontweaks motorsport department as they might have info on hub conversion kits hope this helps:shrug:

you can buy a conversion kit that changes the stud spacing and acts as wheel spacers all in 1. but make sure they supply you with at least 2 bolts long anoth to go into the original hub. demontweaks will def be the best bet for this kit
