hi all.Have been debating last few weeks if i should replace my green panel filter with induction kit.looked on forums alot and it seemed there was various opinions on the subject, stay with standard air box, panel filter, increase cold air feed, smooth air box, induction kit, didnt really know what to do,anyway i thought that the green panel fiter although good seemed to be resticting air flow and affecting performance,so i have opted for the jabba sport induction kit as i have bought a fair bit of kit off them.Didnt take long to fit, everything spot on,very high quality.Cant believe the difference this filter has made to the performance, the pick up is miles better and the throttle is much more responsive, theres more noise compared to green panel filter but it sounds good, loads of turbo and dump valve sounds.Anway just thought id pass on my views on this kit, really recommend it.:)

Its quite similar to my Neuspeed P-Flo isn't it?

Yeah, same sort of thing except the jabba heat shield is a bit more substantial. It has a bottom and it also seals tight to the bonnet when closed. The jabba uses a cotton jr cone and I’m sure the neuspeed uses a k&n.

If I had've known that I would have bought the Jabba one!

Yeah, its a K&N filter. I wonder how much difference there is between the two.

If you’re talking about performance, if there actually is any I’m sure it wouldn’t be noticeable.

There probably isn't much difference performance-wise between mine and yours - but your heat shield looks much better than mine - it looks much more secure and I think the filter looks bigger too!

might sound like a stupid question, but how does the filter get fed the cold air?
when i had a carbonio on my old cupra, it had the filter down in the front bumper to get lots of cold air.
I cant seem to see a way of the air flowing to the filter.

i must be missing something here. :)

You can use the standard air feed pipe from the old air box, or use some bigger diameter CAI ducting. As I've removed my 2 SMIC I'm thinking of running some 80mm ducting down through next to the fog light :)

Yeh it is similar to neuspeed, looked at buying that but jabba offered me the one they sell for £170 so it was more or less same price as neuspeed one so i went for jabba.
