I want to fit this as well...... from the other thread I have these part numbers:

5PO 858 855 D 1UA - false floor
5P5 858 833A - Rail (LH or RH)
5P5 858 834A - Rail (LH or RH)

Is this all you need and are the fitting holes already there?

After this I would also like a full size steel spare (R16) - anybody have a place to get these? Correct PCD, etc without paying a premium at dealers

Measurements:

Forgetting the spare wheel you have a depth of 6" at the end closest to back (15.5 cm)

With wheel full sized (think mine is), 2" down from the cover (5 cm)

thanks for that - hmmm don't know - pram with wheels off is still about 7'' - grrrrrrrrrrrrrr:rolleyes: [:@]

I liked the car too.:( don't know what to do!?!?!?!

Just fitted - pretty easy when you remove the three bits of carpet either side

By contrast, the first thing I did when I got my Altea was remove the boot floor adn divider completely to give more space - maybe we should operate an exhange program :D

I wanted a full size spare, hence the false floor!

All the bits came to 104 quid: two rails, cross brace, 4 screws and floor plus foam insert for spare wheel - bit expensive but wanted it anyway.

Don't have a breakdown on prices other than the screws cost 2 quid.
