All cars have faults mate, when he says commen faults there generally not expensiv common faults just things like maf`s (70ish) coilpacks (30ish) etc... C`mon you have a saxo a seat is a upgrade for sure considering the engine it has.

What sort of trouble have you had with yours? Major problems? or just wear and tear? Has it been well maintined etc... Ive had my cupra for almost a year now with nothing replaced so far (touches wood) and i know it was well maintained before i had it. I think the generaly most people on here will agree they have a good engine. If well maintained.

agreed my cupra is a great car!

I used to have a pug 106 and every weekend it needed work!

The cupra is a lot stronger car any work i do to it is upgrading it!

Had mine 4 years now and the only probs I've had are 1 maf change, engine coolant sensor, and fuse box on top of battery.

Not bad if you ask me considering its tuned as well

I went from a VTR to a cupra about 3 weeks ago, big difference in build quility of the cars the seat is alot more solid. I never had a problem with my saxo the 4 years i had it, but the seat is a much better car. Only thing i miss about the saxo is the handling
