hi people

recently had a coil pack change,
was told that spark plugs needed changing,
car was misfiring at 3000rpm, so decided to service the car and change plugs

plugs have now been changed but car misfires at 4000rpm now

thinking it could be a faulty coil pack?

anyone had this problem any advice is much appreciated

thanks
kev

isn t this just the flat spot that these engines seem to experience around this area?

I found running shell optimax helps, or revo remap.

I went for the more expensive short term option of the remap!

mine done the same , but used to misfire at about 7000 revs , and start spluttering , it was the plugs in mine , it only happened when it was on full boost , boost gauge cranked up all the way , all sorted now i think , will let you know when i get the car back from being resprayed , you spoke to jabba pete , about warranty on your ihi , not sure if they will warranty mine as i wasnt the owner of the car when they done it , anything to get out of fitting a new turbo ,

I had a misfire not to long ago at about 4000rpm like above and it turned out to be a knackered n75 valve, so defo worth a change.

Mine had a misfire at 4500rpm in second gear yesterday for the first time ever, it happened twice in 2 or 3 mins then was fine. Probably yet another coil pack on it way lol.
