Intercooler Question

I know there has been lots of posts up regarding the "laguna intercooler" before and i have tried the search and cant find the answer to my question. The laguna 1.9 DCI model has been available for many years so my question is have they changed the design of the intercoolers at all as i dont want to buy the wrong one for my car ibiza. Any help would be much apreciated :D.

Ok, thanks for the reply. Its just ive been looking at some on internet sites and they say there from a laugna 1.9 DCI though they dont look identical to the one which is shown on the Laguna FMIC Guide. I was just wondering if there was a certain year that the one on the guide was produced.

Yes i did think about going down that route but when i went to get the custom map done i mentioned to one of the guys at jabba about getting a front mount intercooler and he said i really wouldnt get my moneys worth from it as there intercooler is designed for the bigger turbos. So i been looking on here and found the laguna set-up only costs around £200 which is only 1/4 of the pro alloy price. Even though the build quality and design lacks in comparision to jabba's it should work effectivley on my k03 turbo.

If there is anyone viewing this thread which has the laguna set-up could you please tell me what year your intercooler was off? As this would help me and many more people in the future as no one has brought this query up before.

Not sure what year mine was from, but there's quite a few part numbers for the correct Laguna cooler floating around the forum.

I don't want to start another pro-alloy / forge / laguna argument but I'd say you can't beat the effectiveness of the laguna cooler for the money. It can easily be done for £200. I guess I'll see whether it's actually made any difference after the rolling road day this Saturday I suppose.

I've heard nothing but good things for the Laguna from people who have actually got one (ko3s) so i'll be doing that soon. So i'll also be interested in part numbers.
