Leon Cupra R Body Kits...

hi guys, i got a 2002 Leon 1.4, and am bored with its plain jaine looks... i saw a cupra r and an fr the other day... and the body kits on them are sooo much nicer... just wanted to know if anyone knew.....

1) roughly how much it would cost for the cupra/fr stock front, rear and skirts?
2) Where i could get one?
3) If they fit straight on?
4) the fog lights that they have, would it be possible to get them to work, or would they just become aesthetics?

and if anyone is trying to shift one how much??

Cheers

Ben

Im thinking of doing something similar and my plan was to get cupra r replica fibre glass sideskirts and rear bumpers as they shouldnt be to bad if they need some modding then pay full whack for the cupra r front from the dealers so the grill fogs etc fit nicely and should take stone chips and the likes better than replica stuff

In my opinion, if you want to make it look different, personally I'd do something different to be unique. By that I mean still keep it tasteful, but some people will look at your car and think "Wanabe LCR."
At least when you do your "Own thing" they can't say that!
Anyway, thats just what I think, end of the day, you make your own mind up :D

I disagree, i have only seen different Leon bodykits that look terrible, the only way to go IMO is either face-lift Cupra or the LCR bumpers.

The facelift Cupra bumpers will probably fit easier with the exhaust etc but im not 100%.

I dont think people will think Cupra or LCR wannabe. OEM can only be good.

I do!
Agreed. Facelift bumpers shouldn't be a problem (But they're like rocking horse **** to come across I believe) LCR rear bumper is very different and the exahaust has a different position...slightly!

As an idea of cost I have recently bought the entire facelift kit brand new from the dealers for my pre-facelift Cupra (bumpers, skirts, adaptors, covers and grilles). It cost me over £900...

This is without the slightly larger rear spoler too... thats another £170 (!).

Oh and then you'll need to get it all painted...

If you got a love for your car and want the looks then fair enough! I'm lucky in that sense because mines the facelift model...All I've done is change the exahuse from double to sindle oval as it was mandatory. The old one was knackered and making horrible noises!
