Hopefully this should only be a short thread.
I did type it in search but without wanting to spend ages trying to find it, would rather post a new one.

I recently bought a debadged front grill for my cupra T but it looks like the front grill on my car is all in a oner. I didnt think they were or is it just cupra R??

Also how do you get the damn thing off?? was thinking about maybe if i cant get the bedgeless grill in, just doing the badge black but havent the scoobiest how to get the badge off??? is it juts clips or what???

All help appreciated.

Yes mate, me too, if wouldn't come out for me either.

If you undo the screw in the top of the grille you'll also need to release some small clips in the back of the grille, and then the centre part should (i say should) come out.

Or so i've read elsewhere on here.....

if it's a lower spec leon than the LCR there is a screw at the top and all u need 2 do is take it off and then it should slide on out...if it's an LCR it just clips in so you'll probably need to spend a bit of time trying to get it to click out

OK here we go, i just managed to do it after about 2 hours of fiddling.

******
Firstly it does come out, there is a protective strip at the top which will juts unclip out,
i then un pinned the front part of the bumber in the engine bay.
*******
(after having tried taking the bumber off by taking the wheel of the allsorts realised that there was no need) * sigh*
******
The actual middle grill is not actually screwed onto anything, all ther is are a few clips on the top of the grill part.
*****
i managed to get the grill out by prising it using a screw driver from the front and it popped out forwards. (if that makes any sense)
****
im not proud to say this but my wife managed to do it, i juts watched becasue i was getting all hot and flustered.

If i tried that from the start recon it would have taken about 10 mins, rather the 2 hours it took me.
Hop this helps anyone else trying to get it out. lol
