FR 18" Alloys

I'm considering changing the wheels on my FR for a BBS set of CH,CK or VZ 033's as soon as it's delivered.

My hypothetical question is - what do you think a brand new set of FR 18" wheels (without tyres) as these will be swapped onto the BBS's would be worth?

I have been thinking about changing mine as well, I think about £500 for the alloys only sounds about fair but to be honest i might sell the tyres with them as mine dont have rim protectors (as is the case with most or all that SEAT supplied with the FR).

Youre better off selling them individualy because theyre only £350 factory fit with tyres, they do not fetch big money as a set with one mint set being sold by a seat dealer fetching about the same money recently.

As singles though and thats what most people want because they have scuffed one you will get a few quid more, by the way i paid £192 for one wheel on its own brand new no tyre off a dealer because nobody would split a set or they were selling them with scuffs......

if you could get it, don't waste your time with lookin for the FR's.. BBS is the one for the job !

if you look on the seat website under accessories 18" wheels are only 150 each and copies are only about 300 per set????

A set of 4 without tyres were being sold on e-bay in mint condition for £375 plus £48 P&P. They have been listed twice without selling. If you split them you would get more as people just want singles. I personally would have bought one for £100 as scuffed mine quite badly. Chips away did an amazing job but I'd have rather had a replacement.

My original wheels were all sold 3+ months ago, they have now been replaced by the Anthracite BBS CK's as shown in my sig pic
