Stainless steel exhaust

I just got a garage to price me a stainless steel exhaust from the CAT back and was quoted £315.

The exhaust is made to fit the car and comes with life time warranty and the sound is built to my spec.

Does this sound good or should I go for the Miltek exhaust instead?

I havent had a quote for the V5 yet but when i was looking for a SS exhaust for a previous car £300 was the going rate for a CAT back system.

So sounds OK (i think lol)

Their website seems to only be quoting the 1.8T model.

I had a long discussion directly with Milltek earlier this year about fitting one of their exhausts to the v5 Toledo. To summarise, the Tolly is sufficiently different from the Bora v5 fitment they list that they didnt want to do it - said it would effectively be a one off, which they're not interested in. You could of course go to a Milltek dealer and see if they're prepared to "adjust" the Bora exhaust to suit....
I was thinking of a one off exhaust myself as I'd like to hear the engine a bit more but dont want a big exit pipe. Good luck, and let us know how you get on
