Split R Query

Hi,
Does anyone who have the split R valve fitted does the same as mine does......say your in a high gear with your foot nearly to the floor and you lift of the accelerator slightly does you d/v make the noise and also say in 3rd gear at 4-4.5k revs just holding it there and sometimes the d/v will be constantly goin sssssssss (like if its just letting air out)?

mine makes a similar noise however, I think its the noise coming from the TIP rather than the DV. Do you have a TIP fitted?

It could be the diaphram in the dV

Mine quietens down when in 5th gear but is fine in the rest. I guess its just less pressure in 5th thats all

dont no lol mines has a diaphram but i dont have a split r

needs setting up correctly .......
adjust then drive....... adjust again then drive ... until you get the right setup for your car, each one is different so dont really listen when people say "turn it 4times etc etc" do it until YOURS is right

Tried adjusting it last night, turned it 10 clicks from fully 'open' and hey presto its betta-makes a more crisp soud now too, just had a tip fitted last week aswell if that had anything do with it,
