Bizarre Cupra Advert

Is it me or is most of what this chap says utter nonsense??

Reckons he is getting 280bhp from a Cupra. He also says if you upgrade the K03 for a K04 you will get another 100bhp! All I can say is wow, makes my stock 225 look pretty tame.......

Cupra R's struggle to pass 270hp with the K04 they have as standard. Thats about the limit of what the K04 can do with a front mounted intercooler on the 1.820VT AMK and BAM engines (used on Cupra R), unless you go to a Hybrid K04 solution. Stock K04 only has a certain limit of air it can shove before its out of puff.

Basically he's talking complete tish, but he's not the first and he won't be the last to talk tish.

Thats wat i thought thinking where is the front mount and why not fitted! you just about get 220bhp out of the standard smic, ! got feeling he aint even got a ko4 turbo!

Although this cars bhp had been increased by about 100hp the actual engine or the turbo have not yet even been toutched

This is a much loved car that has always been looked after from new and is my pride and joy. Deverstated about selling the car but work surcumstances are forcing the sale.

ye, no doubt complete bullshit, a remapped lcr wouldnt get to 280, let alone a non-r cupra. I also love the way he generalises about the performance compared to other cars like the golf....he's obviously never heard of the 180bhp anniversary edition.
