What are the best mods and easiest for a Mk4 2004 TDI FR??

Im thinking HIDS? Easy peasy to do? Done them in my Leon R and were fantastic...

What else is good to do? easy and cheap? or good mods for it?

Im probably likely to have it mapped to 160 anyway....does this help fuel compsumption or make it worse?

Cheers

Rich

I will say remap and coilovers for performance and handling.

Also 312mm Brake conversion.

Its worth getting them. Easy to fit and wrk a treat.

Standard parts and can be bought from the dealer.

Check part numbers in the FAQ's area.

My first kit in my Toledo cost me just under £300 from HIDS4U and was really impressed with them. When the Toledo was written off one of the bulbs was damaged and rather than re-using the ones which had been in a smash I bought new ones off eBay for £90 (A Hong-Kong number...) and being honest there is no difference between the two kits.

When picking HID's you need to select a temperature - this refects the brightness and colour the HID's produce... measured in Kelvins.

Mines are 6000K, you can get various but I feel mines are a good mix of blue and good brightness.

The lower the temperature, the brighter but less coloured.... the higher the more colour but less brightness.
