MK2 Leon Chrome Dials

Hi. I've searched on here but couldn't find a definative answer. I think I might be interested in the chrome dial surrounds for the leon but know these are only available on seat.com or ibexparts.com. Is there anyway a UK dealer can order these parts as long as they have the part number or would I have to order from europe? Cheers

On a related issue.. Do Ibexparts ship to the UK? and are they cheaper than UK prices for offical Seat parts?

DanGB, I've used Ibex Parts several times and they'll happily ship to the UK- generally a 3/4 day (UPS) delivery from date of order. Not only that but prices are definitely cheaper than from UK dealers including postage (and yes they are genuine parts).

Don't want to sound too much like an advert for them but I can't recommend them enough.

I got the chrome surrounds for my Leon Cupra of SEAT Factory and they finish off the instrument panel really well

Thanks for the pic Dave, they do look stunning. Can I ask exactly how did you order them? and if you don't mind me askin how much did they cost you.
I'm guessing they are easy to fit, just glue and stick into place.

yeah, just been on, unless i'm missing something. They have the ones for the vents and centre console but they are for LHD cars, that doesn't include the dial surrounds.

They are very easy and tapered to fit just make sure you offer them up and fit them before putting the glue on, you get a nice tight fit

I really want to do the heater vents but know that the centre will be LHD as you mentioned so I am holding off. My wife noticed that the instrument surrounds go nicely with the chrome around the centre console by the gear lever

yep, they match the door handles too. It just tidies the interior up and gets rid of more black plastic. I can't understand why extra's like this weren't fitted to the higher spec models as standard to set them apart from the rest of the range. Although I suppose they do come highly spec'd as it is and for the equivilent spec VW or Audi you'd be looking at ££££ more.
