Hi guys,

About to put an order in for a new Leon FR 2.0 TDi and just cant decide what colour to go for.

It's either Black Magic or Zenith Grey.

The problem is I've driven the car in Black Magic which looks awesome, but I've never seen the car in Zenith Grey and the dealer hasnt got one.

Has anyone got a Zentih Grey FR who can post some pictures of?

Tearing my hair out which indecisiveness!

Cheers, Neil:rolleyes:

Hi P0LKR,

Thanks for youre reply.
Yeah I can see what you mean, I can imagine it looks a little flat and rather non-metalic. Might have to hunt one down to have a look at in the flesh.

I can get a good deal on either the black or the zenith - restricts me slightly!!

hi Neil, i would hunt one down and see it in the flesh before making a decision. cars always look different in the flesh! and you'll instantly know which one you'll like more.

im sure you will be happy with both but u might as well spend some time in getting it just perfect. 2nd biggest purchase of ur life and all that ;)

If you want the BIG versions, let me know. Don't discount the Zenith Grey mate! It's a beautiful colour in the flesh and is actually metallic (it's just hard to see in photos). I am glad I went for it as it's easier to keep clean and looks like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Very subtle except when you roar past someone and they realise what it actually is.

Ive got a black FR, and while they look great clean. The colour requires a lot of cleaning to keep it looking good.

So its all up to the amount of work you want to put in!

Thanks for the pictures S8N.
It looks great, really impressed.

The clean issue with the Black is absolutely something to think about. A wash a week I can imagine.

The spec that I can get in Zenith comes with the convenience pack, side airbags, sunroof and the 18 inch wheels. The black comes with convenience pack, ipod connector, Bluetooth and 18 inch wheels.

I do really like the grey and I must say, you dont see many of them around in the FR spec. Plus I totally agree with what your saying about the wolf in sheeps clothing, something that I personally quite like as I'm not the kind of person to start racing people of the mark every time the lights go green...but i'd like the option!!

Thanks for your comments guys.

Just one more thing S8N, i've noticed that the colour of the control panel on the dashboard (where the aircon/cd players controls are) isnt always the same colour. I have a feeling this is down to the exterior colour of the car...ehat colour is yours? Can you post a picture of it?

I would definately go for the Zenith Grey, looks awesome in the flesh and looks clean for a lot longer. No annoying water marks after washing, like on any black car!!

Tony

PS. PM me if you want some decent pics of my Ref Sport TDi in the best colour!!!
