I'm good friends with the Mat Jackson camp and he will be racing his BMW in the WTCC race back at Brands on the 23rd September.
I also gave Mat 10 pound for nearly killing Matt ''Goon'' Neal. Always a next time......
How was Mat deducted grid placing for race 3 for a racing accident. He got a flyer and lost it. Surely Gio's move on Jordan at turn 1 was premeditated to cause a crash unlike Mat who certainly didn't intend to cause one.
i prefer the term '**** Knocker' when refering to someone in this respect....
is it just me or does the rest of the forum think chilton is a chod jockey?
Plato needs to produce something special to win the championship unless Gio has some real bad luck but i think thats just wishfull thinking.
I think Mat Jackson would be a great driver for the Seat team next year, he has the aggresion to win unlike Turner. Jones would be a good alternative though last race at Brands he was awesome.

Emotion Red Leon fr tdi 170 (refered to as cute with attitude)
Mat wont be joining Seat next year. He will probably have another year in his beemer then he wants to cross into WTCC. Jackson Motorsport run a good family outfit and i cant see him giving all that up unless his dad, etc have a say in running the team which at Seat, they wont
couldnt have said it better myself Z!
awesome drive by JP on Sunday...bet Gio thought he had it in the bag this weekend...but Plato behind him EVERY race was great!

"We've seen a new Plato this year, he's mellowed a bit, seems more sure of his ability. Hasn't got into silly scraps, and just tried to stay consistent. Hopefully it will pay dividends in the end."
.......That hits the nail on the head, and squares with what I said earlier. JP IS relaxed both on track, and off it, so far as I could tell yesterday, and yet being totally professional in both settings.
I think he's really in the zone this year, and will give us something to cheer on 14th October
in regards to the tdo possibility, i was under the impression the one entered into the wtcc performed pretty well until it had problems
TDI performed very well, both Gené and Muller complimented the car.
But it requires a bit more track setup development, they ran the car with a best guess setup in Sweden. A track they haven't visited before and it didn't do badly.
Going to Oschersleben this weekend, it might be a different matter. SEAT are the only team to break BMW’s five year winning streak at Oschersleben. It's a circuit SEAT know very well, so they will have good setup data to try out. They will be hoping to for some podiums for sure.
