Changing the Exhaust on 1.4 16V Ibiza Formula Sport

My brother in law has just got himself a 2007 1.4 16V Ibiza Formula Sport. The problem is that the rear valance has a cut out for a nice impressive exhaust like the Fr and Cupra variants, but just has a piddley little exhaust which is just naf.

My question is... can I do a straight swap with the back boxes from a Cupra or Fr without any adverse effects to performance or otherwise?

p.s he doesn't want to spend the money of expensive aftermarket exhausts such as Milltek or doesn't want an almighty boom following him down the road. This mod is purely for looks cause he's a bit vain!

Let me know how you get on, if your brother in law decides to get an exhaust. I am waiting to collect on the 1st sept and thought of an exhaust trim...... but if this is possible, then I may go down that route.
