[:@] What do you guys expect mileague wise out of a set of 18" p zero's.
I've had to replace my two fronts already ater 7500 miles, and knowing its going to cost me £500 or near enough was an utter shock!

Is this common of the leon fr's or is it my driving style or misfortune?

Dunno mate, I've had my Dunlop sport max on since I got the car and I've done 18k so far, and they've still got loads of tread on them...

1) Stop driving so hard. :p

2) Tyres are not that expensive. - for example - kwik-fit (personally i wouldn't use them- but ....) for the 18" wheels is as folllows.
Buy 2 of these Pirelli tyres for £124.95 each
Buy 4 of these Pirelli tyres for £110.25 each
This offer ends on 25th August.

3) GSD3's are only £145 each :)

2.5k on mine and I can see the wear on the fronts.

Practically all town driving so a lot of nipping about and 2nd gear use (wheel spin).

I've got a Reference Sport 2.0 TDI and my front tyres are just about ready for a change at 10K miles. Seems to be the case for most drivers with a high torque car.

I got a quote of £110 for 18" Goodyear Eagle F1's. Anyone rate them? (sorry to steal a bit of your thread!)

My 18" P zeros had loads of tread when l bought the car ( car had 8800miles on it ) l have now got 16K on the clock and they need changed next month - for info, the outside quarter of the two fronts are fine - the middle of the tyre is where the wear is.

Check your tyre pressure, it could be too high.
