have got a boost gauge? if yeh, what is it boosting at.

or if you have vag, check the block 115, requested vs actual boost, this shows if the cars meeting right ecu demands.

i had similer problem after my maf! i then changed the boost valve as thought the current one was abit weak. problem sorted!

I dont have a boost gage but the level of boost seems even in every gear so seems to be in limp mode,i have just fitted my old MAF back on and am going to take it for a spin and see what happens.
Where is the boost valve, its not the N75 is it.

I have just fitted the old MAF and i have boost back, does this mean the new mAF is faulty.
I had my car rolling roaded at P-TORQUE yesterday then had the vag com hooked up,it showed a N75 problem but was advised this could be down to the faulty MAF.
If the N75 was faulty surley the old MAF would not boost.

when i had mines remapped by p torque, my maf went but the car still wasnt boosting right but my n75 didnt show a fault. i just gambled it and bought a new n75 after i changed my maf. It turned out to be my n75 after all

Its abit hard to explain! think the n75 is not meeting the new requirments of maf so it wont boost right!

what mileage has your car done? the n75 are common wear just like the maf. im on my 2nd n75. i prefer brand new n75 as they last longer than used ones.

Its just ticked over the 14000 mark, may well take this gent up on his offer as it saves me forking out for a new one just incase its not the valve.

Thats true! i wouldnt realy prefer a J version as ive read the boost come in earlier but tail of earlier too. (as ive read - do a search n75j).
but if its cheap no harm in trying.

have checked your car recently for any faults?

Yes mate its in working order. The J is not standard, some people call it the N75 sport, but to be honest i dont know exactly what the difference is? something to do with holding boost a bit longer i think? im sure you can find out in the search. Its up to you if you just wanna see if that is where your problem is.
