Hi guys,

Well almost a week into my LCR ownership and am starting to plan some subtle mods..
At the moment I'm not looking for any mechanical mods, just some to make it look a bit better (not that it needs much of that!!)

I have seen the Fabia rear wiper mod, which looks a million times better than the standard Seat wiper and will be doing that. I have just read a thread for a golf areo wiper mod....anyone got any pics of this??

Any advice??

Also, what's with the R badges???? All 3 of mine need repalcing!

Justin

The fabia wiper looks good, but it's not the only alternative. The toureg wiper looks good too, and matches the aero wipers profile better IMO.
You can also look at getting the Honda S200 ariel wich is shorter but looks better and works as well (in most cases).
A delock looks better too.

Hope some of this helps.

Maybe for the UK Weather, a decent set of wipers too.

Valeo X Trim ( I recomend these) or Bosch Aerotwins.

Yeah the rear wiper is VW toureg. If you look on VAG parts (www.vagparts.com) it used to be under the leon section on external parts. Not sure if it still is, but if you buy it from the Toureg section it will fit. (remember to get the arm aswell, as the replacement blade won't fit without it.)

Fabia wiper looks 100% better than the Toureg one though and as for matching the Aeros... unless you can find a way of seeing both front and rear wiper sets at the same time in full view, I'd not worry about that.

As for which mods... DogBone mount, Short shifter, Green panel filter, smoothed air box, larger diameter air intake, decent head unit, Honda aerial, HID's and the above mentioned rear wiper should get you started.

Search for info on all of them as everything you need to know - including part numbers - is already on this forum

best and cheapest mod you can do is dog bone for sure, you won't be able to show it off, but the car will thank you.

the rear wiper at least the one i fitted and got a :yelcard: for; was a touran aero rear, but i like it, as do a few others

clicky here ---> http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=127202&highlight=touran+aero+wiper

There a loads of other (mechanical) mod's you'll probably want to do at some point, and probably the better one is fit some uprated arb's (still on my shopping list) but if you drive it like it was intended to de driven you'll want some sooner or later..
