Just fitted new MAF and now i have no boost at all at anytime,i have also done a ECU reset.
My old MAF's part number is 06a906461m
new one is 06a906461mx
Would this make any difference.
Also does the engine have to be cold when doing a ECU reset as it had only been an hour since i had been out in it.
Realy starting to do my nut in now.
HELP

From experience, it must be exactly the right part number. Ideally from a dealer too. This sounds like Limp Mode mate. Caused by not having the right one.

Have you tried the old one again? If that makes it back to normal then its definitely the wrong one you have on now.

Thats annoying!!

I dare say they will give you a refund or exchange though??

Its definitely important to get the number spot on, I have been fobbed off before with "Yeah, they're all the same mate"....and there aren't,

Just taken new one off and the part number is exactly the same.
Only on the box it has the extra letter X.
Don't know what to do now.
