Since ive had my car re-mapped, there seems to be a weird issue around 5,000rpm where the boost seems to go down then when it hits 5500rpm it goes back up. Anyone else had this before? Its almost like turbo lag at 5000rpm. Very odd.

Not quite sure tbh. Did you try unplugging your maf sensor in the end? It may be a related issue. Unplug it and take it for a quick spin to see if it still does it.

Another possibilty is a faulty N75 valve. When mine went, somedays the boost would go all over the place.

Try the disconnecting the MAF sensor first as that's the easiest to do Then try the leak back test as suggest by Ruddmeister as again that's easy to do and costs nothing.

If unplugging the MAF doesn't see any change then it may be the N75 valve. I still think it's worth doing a leak back test on the dump valve, even if it is fairly new. At least you can then eradicate it from the list.

New MAF's are like £200+

If you MAF is faulty get a new one on exchange, you take your old one to the stealers/car place and they take yours and give you another. Costs around £80;)

Hopefully just by unplugging your MAF and plugging it back in should sort the problem:)
