The LCR likes to settle around the 26-30mpg, depending on the sort of driving you do obviously. If you try really hard you can get this much lower and also much higher. High 30s are possible but you have to try reeeally hard.

You're looking at around £30 a week if you drove fairly sensibley with some spirited driving thrown in.

As a guide filby, I at the moment do about 150 miles a week. This can vary so much depending on the sort of driving you do and the traffic. But with little traffic and not caning it during the week (constant flow of traffic means i can't!!) I get about 330 miles out the tank which is roughly £60 to fill. So yes as speed six says you are looking at probably £30 a week in fuel.

This is based on super, so could be a few quid less with '95 ron.

your car must be somehow alot better on fuel than mine because im now averaging around 28 to the gallon on my trips to work and back which, doesnt involve any motorway. however, i am only achieving that by being ECEPTIONALLY light on the throttle and never giving it any welly (i.e. under 3000rpm at all times). if i were to give it a bit of gas (and i dont mean foot to the floor, say 4000rpm max) i'd be looking at more like 23mpg.

on the motorway if i stick to 70 on a long journey then i might get 32-33 but 80+ and im looking at sub 30.
