Someone told me that parade boot polish works quite well  never tried it myself have always used back to black but, the wax not spray. Might try the boot polish technique on my punto bumpers.

I've used both autoglym bumper care (green gel) and Armour all on the black plastic bit's with pretty decent results, neither are a permenant solution tho'

The only real permenant solution is to use some black paint suitable for abs plastics.

i used kiwi black shoe polish on my old mk3 golf , i think its like 79p a bottle (asda), comes with a sponge top/applicator, perfect for putting on bumpers , wipes off the paint work with a wet cloth if you smudge it and it lasts!.

the golf is now parked off road (no tax or mot), the red paint has faded pink, but the bumpers are still black!

AutoGlym do a Black Dye type product, I think Elite Car Care sell it

Or there is a new product from the states called BLACK WOW due to be released soon, there is a group buy over on Detailing world at the moment, not sure if any are left though, but I gues places like Elite, C&S etc will be stocking it soon

Peanut butter! yes i didnt believe it till i saw in on discovery turbo wrecks to richs, the oil in the peanut butter restores the colour and they say it last longer then any other product. It seemed to work well on there car not had chance yet to try it on mine.
