Head unit seat leon

Hi,
I just got a seat leon mk1 and want to change the head unit. Do i need to get any adapters for the wiring? i know i need to get the fascia. Looking at pioneer head units.

ive got a pioneer hu (avix x1r)

the standard radio conections on the leon are ISO
so it should just be a simple case of plug and play

in response to this, I have just done the same to my leon, but it does not keep its settings, what else do I need to plug in to my Alpine unit

there was a black and red cable coming out the back of the alpine unit, where would I plug this to, in order to keep the settings
