Where in the world are you ?

and more importantly, what's a reasonable price ?

Got my Toledo off the road at the moment with the LCR bumper off and probably won't be re-fitting it for a few months yet - make me an off I can't refuse and I'll replace it when I need to.

It's silver btw

Thanks for all your help guys!!...been flat out on ebay trying to find a replacement bumper so I can get it fully fixed because at the minute (and through desperation of not having the car for a while) I have the broken bumper stuck back on so I can use the car...but as I just realised with M.O.T up in one week and Tax at the end of the month i really need to find myself one so I'll get onto the scrappy's this morning!! I live over in Ireland in Co. Tyrone and yes it really was a dirty dirty action just driving off after what was done :(

So did I ... but I failed to notice a Mini infront of me at a junction when booting it for a gap in traffic :headhurt:

That, and the points, has put my insurance up to unspeakable highs this renewal, so I've got a little Micra for bombing about in while me and my mate try to figure out how best to get this TFSI and flappy-paddle gearbox in the Toledo.

That's going to make delivery a bit of an issue, but the offer still stands if you get desperate ;)

OH MY GOD!!! your gonna put the DSG style gearbox in? with flappy paddles! Mate, you soo have to put photos on...how far down the line have you got with it?

Bummer about the insurance..... I still have the bumper from my tolly when i put the cupra front on if you need it (if you sell your cupra r one...)
bet it feels strange to be in a micra....:)

LOL It's rubbish. But cheap to run (998cc) and cos it's so light the brakes feel awesome

...shame the tyres don't fill you with confidence and it feels like it's going to roll over on bends

There's a difference of opinion at the moment - I want to try and fit the subframe complete with wishbones, hubs and running-gear. My mate reckons we'll 'get away with' just the engine & gearbox and is trawling etka for suitable driveshaft and hub part numbers.

The clocks are a direct fit (A3 sportback) and *touch wood* we've not found too many electrical problems yet - although no-doubt there'll be a whole suite of issues before the thing ever fires ... and probably more after that :(

No meaningful piccies yet, but when the real strip-down comes I'll have to start a HowTo... guide :D

Ouch it really must be killing ya not being able to take the Toledo out no more seen the pics it is very tidy now mate!!

Yea ano that's what I was thinking is the delivery problem but how old is the bumper you have at the minute and what sort of money would you consider parting with it for? (Just out of curosity ;))

Is the replica bumper made from fibreglass?...is so I have one here already it's just I want a genuine one so that the grills, panel and splitter will simply click in uno instead of actually having to screw them in place.

But thanks for your help very much appreciated!!
