Finally picked her up!!

:)

Well, after a few more problems with my old car, I have finally picked up my new used Leon Curpa! :) - Despite the Royal Mail trying everything they could to stop me, going on strike so the paperwork for my loan didn't get there in time nearly...........

The drive back from picking her up was nice and steady, as having to get used to a different car, but the power just seems to go on for ever in every gear when I did give it some (after letting her warm up properly). Now I know I'm used to driving a diesel, which only revs to 4k, but this thing really does through you back into the seats all the time.

I've had another look over the car, and it has deffinately (sp?) been lowered, by how much though I don't know.

I'm also surprised how little it costs to fill her up, she was near on empty last night and even putting Tesco Super (99 RON) in only cost 51 quid to fill, less than my old diesel even though similar sized tanks!?

I will get some decent photo's up soon!

Glad to here that about motorway driving, going to be doing a few runs this weekend in her!

It's annoying being stuck at work today, I just want to be out driving everywhere!

Once you get on the motorway, stick it in 6th and it feels like the car is barely ticking over yet you can still accelerate without changing gear - nearest thing to an automatic :)

This was my first diesel and my first turbo charged car and i'm very happy with the combination :)
