no

the recirculating valve which replaces your standard boosch recirculating valve is the recommended valve for the 1.8t engines is the most common on here and is said to be safer on the engine you can get a tshh noise with a recirculating valve but you will have to

smooth mod your standard airbox, by a tip (silicone hose) and also bypass the n249 valve which is easy! then you get performance reliablity and your much wanted tshh noise

ive got a baileys dumpvalve and samco fitting kit that will fit your car for sale if you do decide to go for a louder tsssh

it was in the forge forum not video, sorry mate my mistake.

anyway heres a couple of vids, there fitted to leons but its still the 1.8t lump so should give you an idea.

its hard to tell if its 'whoosy' or 'tisshy' coz sound quality on both is quite bad so it would defo be worth gettin an opinion from someone who has actually fitted one. im just goin on what iv read and what people have told me. also check out the forge forum on here theres loads of info on it there.

i think i might still go for one, but coilovers are top of the list for me

this is exactly what put me off getting one, think i need to here it for real before i make my mind up but for now i'd rather put my hard earned cash monies towards something i know is worth it!

is it the 007 rv u got rash? set to fully recirculate im guessin?

remember jam if you fit it and you dont like the noise it can easily be set to fully recirculate and it will run silently
