done a search and all i can find for the mk3ibiza is the really expensive vibrtechnic ones.

are there any others out there for sensible money which are better than standard ones.

watching my engine on the rolling road was a bit comical, moves a good 6 inches backwards and forwards. thinking that a couple of bhp i could save through wasted energy.

yea but
for the VT mounts....

Front engine mount £146.44
L/H engine mount £78.91
R/H engine mount £77.16

then fitting

so looking at expensive either way, as long as i know that im ok with it.

fitting i can do easly, so thats ok for me.

dam my list is getting long and expensive.

im guna guess Mr. Badger can source and supply these for me?

Be prepared, they are a little on the harsh side. I had to increase idle to 950 to smooth it slightly.

think it depends how bad the mounts are. mine are quite, well very wrecked.

always worth doing though, its all WIP and on the list.

i only changed the front mount (from badger5) and I didn't notice much difference at all.

Its the rear pair that are the killer. The front it attached to the front subframe, which is bushed again onto the engine bed, so gives a little vibration/noise supression.

The engine bed which holds the rear pair is bolted directly to the body with no bushes, so vibration and noise is directed straight onto the body.

sounds about right, my mate has group N bushes on his mounts and the car ratles like a really rattely thing.

no pleasent to be in but did make a big difference to the car.

on the subject of mounts, who does suspension bushes on here, couldnt find any direct or indirect suspension bush related threads.
