Before I get flamed I have tried searching for pics but have only found other types like the sports ones for the mk2 etc...

Is this the right place for the sill guards?

They can't go under the upper sill (red) under the rubber as the front ones the door frame starts to curve upwards and it would cover most of the LEON sign.

The lower one (black) there doesn't seem to be enough height for the edge of the sill to sit comfortably.

Cheers

Cheers Rik :)

You'd think that they'd make them to fit over the black entirely. The left edge of the sill is right on the very edge of the black dimpled covering. Not a big issue but they could have cut them to shape a bit better.

where did you get the dead pedal from allan please:)

Sorry I bought it off somone on here who had it made. I don't know anyone that works with metal to get one sized up etc. The only alternative I know of is the R32 one but that is always £££'s.

some may say lala land....
your mats i notice have same trim as mine, however i notice you have a metal plate where mine is/was padded - did you attach? or was it part of mat set? also where you get the alloy pedals as my brake one, (rubber), has decided it doesn't wanna be attached any more. sorry for the string of questions.

Got the chequer plate from these peeps:

I think they are on ebay too. Cost about £8 posted. Just give them the measurements. Then just rivet it onto your mat. Place a washer underneath so it doesn't pull through. :)

The pedals are standard LCR ones, shouldn't cost too much for a set from Seat or see if anyone has any in the for sale section, ebay etc...

I happen to have one of those unused sitting at home. I got one off the same guy but the shape of my 99 Toledo dead pedal was different so I ended up making my own left and right custom versions. Happy to sell on at cost + postage if you are interested, in which case you would need to PM me.

I didn't remove it because when the car goes I can take off the sills and sell them on. It will still have the OE protection there for whoever has the car next.
It's not bothering me that much just they could have designed them a little better.
