Ive got a bracket coming off the spare mount under the header tank.... its bolted to the maf with rubber grommets. Air filter is mount to the inner wing with rubber grommets too. Personally, I don't belive vibration is the killer, its oil from the breather system

Any of you ladies have a standard DV?

Yeah makes me laugh when people say an oily K+N filter kills mafs. They obviously havent seen the amount of oil from the breather system that gets into the TIP.

I think it's excess airflow maxing/burning them out.
