I've had car since new and just about warrenty expiry time mine started to bubble, due to rubbish Seat garage i couldn't be bothered. But regret it now.
You look like you have the best case I've seen for a warrenty fix, keep at them and don't take any s##t.
Claims have been honoured from some Seat garages, try search for LCR oxidising wheels and you'll find a couple of cases

It'll most likely be rejected

a) have they been refurbed? looks like it's paint on paint coming off
b) they'll just say it's the abrasive wheel cleaner you use

The standard laquer job on the wheels is ****. I got my 55 plate with only 2500miles on it and 3 of the wheels have the laquer peeling in places. I could go to the dealer and ask about getting it sorted but they are getting powder coated in anthracite in a couple of weeks and will be relaqured anyway :)

I had fun with our lass's.

Complained due to poor finish, could see primer through paint in the corners etc.

Claim rejected as garage said I was complaining due to them fading???

I theefore would not accept this.

SEAT said take it to VW approved paint shop and get them to confirm poor finish in writing.

I sent SEAT letter as requested, they said not good enough, they would get their agents to inspect but at my cost, they also said possibly caused by what I had used to clean and asked me what I had used, I would not tell them nd asked what shouldn't I have used, thy obviously could nto answer. I advised them the report from their agenst was not independant and I would sort own independant inspection/report.

SEAT inially would not accept report but just baout to sue them, they agreed to replace all 4 wheels.:funk:

My Leon was in at Miller & Middleton to get a leak fixed amongst other things, borderline 1/2 days work so i let them have it for two days.

Got a call early afternoon on day one to say car was done.

Have since noticed leak is still there with water coming into the car. Will be calling them tomorrow.

Hi mate,

Take some pics and e-mail them to your local dealer or SEAT UK. I've just done this with mine and got a full new set of alloys and a new set of front brembo calipers.

Its in the garage as we speak getting this and some other ongoing (6 months!!!) warranty repairs sorted. Its out of warranty now but fortunately i reported it all before it ran out!

Cheers

Lee
