back GTi badge

after everyone telling me that the back boot lid GTi badge has been discontinued (even dealers) i tried ebay ...for a few weeks ..no luck. phoned scrappies ...no luck. tried another dealer and they found what they thought was a sticker, got them to order it and it was the badge w00t,

Yeah i was lucky, i thought they had disconntinued the "GTi16v" grille badge but managed to get one from my local dealer. A bargain at £2 odd incl. VAT!

did they ever do a cupra front grill bagde? Not the new ones but in the old style writing?

no, just a GTi in red and a GTi16v in red for the front grille.
only newer ibizas came with the cupra/cupra R badges

and the 8v's came with back and side "cupra sport" chrome badges (which are discontinued now ...arnt they?)

Back one is a silver badge, the ones on the wings are stickers.

they 'did' also do a sticker one one 'some' of the rears... I have my 'original metal ' ones salvaged off the damaged bootlid which 'may' go back on when the respray is done.

hmm, im keeping with the red/black image ...the GTi badge goes sweetly ontop of the 2.0l 16v i really cant wait till i put it on ..im prob gna put it on bent knowing me.

it would be nice to have a cupra badge on my car but not in chrome, and not the new style lol.
