Im sure everyone who is interested will want to know what sort of gains they are likely to get and a price.

Hi there

We have advertised all gains on the forum and our website already ;)

We have been tuning the engine since it came out, but we are now able to flash the ECU via the OBD without ECU removal.

As a reminder, gains are +25 - 30bhp and +70 -75NM of torque. The power is held very well through the rev-range, with smooth delivery :)

Sorry.
There have been so many threads about tuning etc that I was a bit lazy and couldnt be bothered to search through them all.

That's a good price compared to the competition.

I'd like a remap but still worried about the DPF and also the non switchable nature of the maps surrently available. Maybe in a year or so when I can read more people's experiences I'll feel more compfortable.

Hi There

I can understand your view on this.

Keep an eye out in our forum section, and hopefully you will read some other members reviews :)

Sounds like a good option, I'll consider this map when I get a few more miles on the car.

Only thing I cant get out of my head is that the remap is limited by the DPF, Im assuming the figures would be higher without this fitted. Do you have any ideas (or have you done any testing) what the power/torque would be with it removed or replaced?

And exactly what guarantee's are you giving for when it all goes badly wrong, say after a service or just in general, as has happened to a few guys here already. I don't mind spending £325 but I wouldn't be happy spending that and more for a new ECU. I note that some people, after having a remap and it going wrong have found it difficult to get it back to standard.

Hi There

A further 10 - 15bhp could be gained if the DPF was not in place.

The mapping with the filter in place still gives very good results though

Hi There

We can always map back standard if needed, and have never had issues doing this.

Not sure what you mean by ''when it all goes badly wrong after after a service'' though

Let me know, and I'll answer as best I can ;)

again following a few mentions on this site, where a couple of people have had a service where the dealer has plugged in and updated software and it hasn't been right after. I have been keeping a very keen eye on the mapping states for this car. At the moment I don't think many have been succesful with reliability to warrant the risk as yet

Hmm, sounds like dealer error to me then.

We have mapped over 20 now, (some Audi models in fairness) and had nothing but great feedback, and I know for fact that at least 3 have been serviced as the customers called me before hand with similar concerns as yours :)
