Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is an induction kit for the TDI engine??
Been looking around, only seem to do them for the petrol engines.

Cheers

What about the Driling of Airbox and fitting panel filter, read a lot about it and seems to have more adv's than an induction kit. Can you run the risk of heat soak and choking the engine with too much and too hot air?

Drilling the air box is a stupid idea as you will suck in hot air from the engine bay thats why you fit forced induction kits which suck cold air in from the outside not cheap cone filters that just suck in hot air. You might want to fit a panel filter if you have a remapped car or if your old filter wares out but you still will not get any more noticeable power from it. You only need to start messing with the air filter if your going big turbo really.

Went there, Lloyd said probably better to wait until one was more available on the market rather than make one up that might look a bit shabby.

Cheers

With the weather we are having where I live, I have been looking for a snorkel kit for mine and bouncy aids for when it gets real deep. (watched and video'd a fiat floating down a road last week....no real loss)
