The new one wont be here until tuesday now, but i will post up pics as soon as it is here, iam getting excited.

It maybe running next week providing i can make a DP and i can sort the oil and water lines for the turbo. Looking good though.

Not to much progress today, removed the SAI system and relocated both the horns to the passenger side chassis leg and did the wiring for them.

Slowly but surely its coming together.

Bill, If i'm not mistaken its was the owners 4 year old blind son that's doing the welding for them at the moment.

maybe the guide dog should have a go.... could hardly be any worse.
jeez and they have the cheek to actually charge money for that and put their name to it.... beggars belief..

only for cars upto 150bhp guys!! for the 13 row one!!

Rough guide: a 13 row cooler should be adequate to cool most naturally aspirated engines up to around 150bhp (FOR TRACK USE) given an installation with good airflow, after this a larger cooler will be required - please ask.

then respray

then back to turbo

well i looked at the 30 but to much power to late on in revs then thats it.

look on for sale section there are internals on that for sale now mate

i know of a mate who has an octavia who's going 2l and bigger turbo a 30 i think cant imagine what that'll churn out??

The Peloquin diff turned up today which was a nice suprise, Import duty was £ 40.

Also i think my oil cooler kit and manifold turned up today as i have 2 delivery notes, so the wife is getting them toomorrow.

Think iam gonna get the car running first ( driveable ) before doing the diff and clutch, but there wont be much progress this weekend as iam off to TOTB with my mate and his corsa.

I think the manifold was delivered today, will find out toomorrow.

Spec will be:

standard bore mahle motorsport 8.5:1 comp pistons
THS H beam rods
Supertech inconel exhaust valves and black nitride inlets
Equal length GT25 flanged manifold
Garrett GT2871R turbo
Genesis 550cc injectors
S3 Fuel pump
3" DP and decat
2.5" jetex exhaust
3" Inlet
Jabba intercooler kit

Peloquin Diff
G60 flywheel
XTD stage 3 paddle clutch

and a splash of custom code phase 3

hopefully will see 370+ BHP and some torques. fingers crossed.

Think thats the full list, but there is a lot going on so may have forgotten something.
