Minimum understeer

What would be best to have a sharper entry to corners with the mk3 understeery nature?
25mm ARB at the front and 28 at the back?
None at the front ,only at the back for tail happy nature?
Bare in mind I'm allready lowered and with KONI's and upper front strut brace and no spacers , as I wish to have a looser back end .

If you want a loose backend, then 28mm rear ARB and no front, and you'll be going round rounabout's backwards, and then probably up over kerbs, through bushes, and down bankings.

mine handles like a dream, only got rear arb 28mm, and 20mm spacers on rear

done trackday in it and had no problems what so ever, not even a slight chance of it being tail happy

Mine handles awful, hope front and rear ARB's sort it out. I've got FK silverline coilys, front and rear spacers and front and rear strut braces.

just the rear arb made a massive difference, couldnt believe it, think front one will give me a bit more understeer really

I've been adjusting the Stiffness of my suspension, but its been wet since i adjusted the fronts, rears seem spot on.

Can't wait to give it a good drive in the dry.

Hopefully the ARB's will be here soon.

28mm rear on my made mine turn in better, but I found the balance improved by fitting the 25mm front.

mine handles superb with just FK silverline X coilys with the koni internals and uprated springs, front strut brace and 15mm rear spacers, bloody love it!!!

I've got the same setup as you mate, have recently been adjusting the damping, but cant wait to fit my ARB's, will totally transform the car into something good.

Don't normally pop over this section but saw understeer and thought ha, I having an answer!

Just fitted my jabba rear arb, its 23mm and my front is 21mm from a fabia vrs, got coilovers and 20mm rear spacers too and now its bloody lovely!

Probably doesn't help having a big heavy diesel engine though...

So what do you guys suggest I add or discard to my current setup , baring in mind I have Koni's firmed 90% on all 4 corners , 30-35 mm springs and a front upper strut tightened to maximum ??

loads of wieght reduction helps handling

So do the spacers need to be compensated for to ensure front wheels are correctly aligned, as when I had mine tracked after fitting my wishbone bushes they said the spacers shouldn't really matter and bring it as I'd be running it daily. They said it didn't need adjusting when they checked it and hence didn't charge me, (deal with them alot through work).

Thing is had to get some new front tyres as inner edges were wearing, now thinking this could have been caused by them not compensating for the spacers on the rears, and hence causing it to toe-in excessively.

Any thoughts??

what tracking
what rear arb setting.

less front more rear stiffness, and damper, more frisky rear end..
some tow out front will promote some turn in also, not forgetting actual driving style.

Camber is neutral at the moment I believe Bill .
Looking to get rear 28mm ARB.
Stiffness is all the way practiclly on 4 corners . Might try and soften the front .
Perhaps a rear strut would help too.
