new style wipers

hey all.......
ive got a ibiza cupra 2001 and would like to puit new style wipers on to it has any one done this ? im thinking maybe off a late mk4 golf or a newish polo

I wouldnt mind knowing what people use on the back one as seen a few with different ones on.

I think people use the new polo rear wiper (the whole unit) to replace it.

no but i mean front wipers.....the blade style ones hard to explain?!

i kinda bodged mine a bit. by that i mean i:

1) purchase an LC (leon cupra) set of front aero blade wipers.
2) measured up and cut
3) Welded back together
4) bent and reshaped
5) primered and painted, with clear laquer
6) fitted

i total it cost me:
1) about 50 quid for the wipers + an extra set of blades
3) free as i can do welding
5) 8 quid for paint and laquer

so 60 quid max for me, and to be honest since i did it this way i managed to get things perfect, the way i wanted them to be. i did not want a my passenger side wiper blade to go up at an angle and by doing it my way i managed to modify it to my taste so they both lay flat.

ive took the washer jets off my bonnet and now i have them on my wipers instead

yep thats exactly wht i mean i think mk4 golf windscreen should be same size and shape ish......dont really want to cut and weld no offence to you.

no offence taken, i just didnt fancy spending like 90+ quid on a new set,

bosch and valeo now do replacement blades that fit onto your original wiper arms

there about £30 for the pair

We had a group buy not long ago but im sure the seller **Turbo Revs** will have some still in stock if your interested.. Was around £15 for both sides including a speedy delivery..
