I have a LCR and we have a 12 week old baby
We have the Mamas and Papas Pliko pramette
Which is a system with additional babyseat base
(rear facing)
This fits into both front and back seats but when
in the back seat to allow the seat belt to pass
around the back of the baby seat you have to tip
the baby seat forward a bit. But we have had the
seat in the front since he came home from hospital.
The only problem we have had with this one
compared to others is that the wee man slumps
down due to him not being able to hold his head
up. There are seats out there that are in a
reclined position that is better for the little un.
Now that hes able to hold his head up its not an
issue.
The only problem would be that when the little un
is a bit bigger it might piss them off not being able
to see out due to the reclined position.

Ahh yes, quick thinking! Although personally why bother with prams? You can save the effort by just leaving the small things in the boot?
1st off - How old's the little one?
I've got a Maxi-Cosi PriorFix ISOFIX seat (Cat 2 9mnths -> 4yrs) & Britax Evolva (Cat 2-3 9mnths -> 11yrs)
The Britax isn't ISOFIX, but is the one that tend's to be borrowed by mother etc if they're looking after the little one, it doesn't secure as well as the ISOFIX, but have been testing my CGLock with it to see if that aids tightness
The Maxi-Cosi also has seat belt securing points, so don't have to be ISOFIX'd.
My boy is 20mnths now, and the seat is fine in the back seat, the support leg does mean that the passenger seat can't go ALL the way back, but isn't hugely restrictive.
I know that someone on here is using one by a company called "Jane" I think (have a search), but this is the next catagory (4yrs -> 11yrs)

I'd avoid the Britax ISOFIX unless you get the support strap that goes over the back of the seat & secure's in the boot, because it still have the ability to "submarine" as there is no top teather.
I have to say that my local Halfords Car Seat bloke was expetionally good, and they check for fitment into the car...it's worth going in & having a word even if you don't buy from there, as they will check everything is ok in the car (no buckle crunch etc) and they've got a fairly good range.

Sorry sorry, meant a booster seat, he's nearly 2. We have a Britax at the mo but the back of the booster seat is too wide and does not fit into the sports seats very well, hence leaving a gap of about 3 inches, therefore he is sitting on the plastic bit and not the actual seat.

Personal opinion on my part is that he should still be in a 3/5 point harness seat until he's at least 3 or 4yrs.
You might wanna look for one of the "growing" seats that has the harness, but also changes into a booster (using std seat belt) when he's a little older.
Not sure what you mean by "booster", let us know a model or link to it on a site somewhere.

as mentioned earlier, i have the britax duo isofix, but i purchased mine from our local honda dealer as i also have a 2006 accord. it came with the top tether all for £160 as i get trade as RAC patrol, but no probs at all in last 8 months. good luck mate

Here, this is pretty much it. As you can see the back is quite wide therefore wont fit into the Leon seats.
Apparantly if a child has the weight he can be on a booster seat and not a baby seat. As he's a large lad he is able to be on the front seat with the air bag turned off and using a booster seat.

only turn the airbag off on REAR facing baby seats, this is to stop the bag deflating and falling on the head of the baby causing suffocation
If he's facing forwards on a booster surely you would want the airbag ON

Sorry but this is a cracker!!
The air bag is turned off to stop it going off and ramming the baby in its rear facing seat into the back of the seat at great speed.
The air bag is set to start to deflate by the time you hit it as the seat is already infront of it in rear facing mode it is still inflating.
