what dont you get....?

trim the lugs down an inch, chop off about 3-4inch either end and screw on, [maybe slightly diff for a cupra but its near enough the same...

is the front end of the cupra rounder? cos it just DONT fit lol im tempted to just the V off... so i can bend it to make it rounder ill take a picture tonight the middle sits to far back or the edges to far forwards.

as for the fitting post. i think it just needs clearer pictures and also a close up of the V's and what its am i screwing through?

my guide:

1: hold splitter up to car. Work out and remember which bits need chopping off. (clue they are in the middle, theres two of them and they are vertical).

2: go get dad ( or friend for a spare hand). ( or failing this some tape).

3: hold splitter up against car, adjust to best fit to your personal taste. (remember its not made for this car so it wont be an exact fit).

4: screw into bumper underside to hold in place. ( short fatter ones are best, and dont go OTT with screws, if you hit a bump its better ther splitter comes off and not the whole bumper).

5: cut off ends of splitter that extend past ends of bumper. ( or do this earlier and off the car by marking how much to cut off when holding it in place).

6: log on SCN and say, "it looks great and was a piece of P1ss)

i put the splitter cental and cut two rectangles out in the bottom of the bumper and clipped the two luggs in like they are suppost to be for on the leon cupraR's it looks alot better than trimming them down as if you stand back you can see they have been trimmed then buy plugging the two lugs in start drilling from centre out wards bending in the process then when fixed up cut and trim the edges job done!

Thats a very good idea, which for people with pre-facelift bumpers would be cheap if done wrong, as the bottom lip isnt the bumper as such!

i must admit i dnt see the problem here it is exstreamly simple! when i had the bumper taken off it took me 4mins to fit it just a power drill and air ratchet to fire the self tappers in a knife to cut the rectangles out and an airsaw to cut the ends off and a belt sander to smoth the edges off :)
