Bodywork

I went to view another cupra last night and noticed that the boot had a big line of rust right under the rear window, I was really suprised buy this as it was a 2k model.

My 106gti was a 98 model and the bodywork was near mint on it, no rust what so ever

Is this a common thing???

What other "bad" bits do I look out for on the cupra???

Also it needed new discs all round and 2 front tyres, the price for tyres aint a problem but is it a good idea to upgrade the discs to something like EBC or Brembo???

What kinda price would this roughly be???

i Wouldnt upgrade brakes to ebc, i had them and theyre shite

its a spot told to look for mines just looking like its gonna go a little bubbles appearing so dont worry to much

nothing wrong with my EBC discs and yellowstuff pads. They seem spot on so far. (i took a lot of persuading to try them as greenstuff are rubbish). i must admit the yellows are **** hot!
