Give people a chance!

You only left it an hour and it's fairly late now aswell so not many people about.

Patience my young apprentice!

They both look reasonable, not bargains but not overly expensive either. Depends on the condition etc.

Maybe keep an eye out for an FR+? Whats your budget? Any particular colour you are after?

lol sorry i was just after an answer before i go to bed. I'm impatient i know!

My budget is £11K or maybe just over. I'm after a silver or grey car. I want something with less than 35K miles on though.
What are these FR+ models everyone is talking about? I have yet to see one. What do you get different over the normal FR model?

Not too bad - a quick check on parkers.co.uk will tell you what you should be paying and what the options are, technical data etc.

You Should easily get an FR for 11k with less than 35k

I might get shot down for this but the silver and grey seem to be more common and could possibly be easier for you to get hold of.

Blue FR's seem to be the rarest (Only ever seen one) - With 11k You should try and go for less than 25k on the clock, they are out there :)

I didn't even know they made them in blue! I thought it was yellow, red, black, silver, grey and that was about it. You learn something new every day...;)

So did I, but I saw a Blue Fr Tdi parked in the car park at white dove SEAT in Cardiff on Monday (05 plate I think)

1-0 to me :funk:

I think somebody is having me on, i am really struggling to find 05 plates for around 11 grand. They are all 12 grand. Anyone seen any for sale?

Yeah but how far is that from sunderland?
I'm not sure about buying one private because i would have to sell my car and can't afford to be without it for more than a couple of days.

Its a 54 plate FR with only 23K on the clock, FSH etc etc

Don't be afraid to travel the country to get the right car. For the sake of a day out and £100 in train or plane tickets, you could end up with the perfect car. By limiting yourself to only local cars you'll potentially end up with something not quite as good, just because of laziness. Get out and see the world! :D

I've been looking at car's from dealerships all over the country but i cannot really sell my car private as i work as a trainee accountant and go out to clients so can't really be without the car. Also its 2 buses to work.
I would travel up to 100 miles away but nothing like london etc i'd rather just pay an extra few hundred quid.
I know for a fact a private sale would benefit me but i'm just scared of being ripped off to. Would prefer some sort of warranty. I don't want to be left with a shed.

Dont forget Leons come with 3 years warranty!

So if you get a new enough one it will still have the balance of the warranty on it.
