Strange boosting problem

I have an 03 Cupra which has recently had Jabba's stage 2 remap done on it. When I picked the car up it seemed loads quicker and I was reallyl pleased!

Over the last week or so I can get in the car and it'll seem like it was never remapped or lacking lots of boost. If I switch the engine off/on again then it's like a switch has been flicked and I get full boost again.

Anyone got any ideas on what this could be?

Aside from that the car drives perfectly, no warning lights, funny noises etc. temperature is normal, fuel usage appears to be normal.

The car has a Cabonio induction kit, Forge 007 dv and a Milltek full system.

If I could get vagcom hooked up is there anything I could look for?

Cheers

Sounds like its going into limp mode which limits the boost to 5 psi (ish), this is reset when via the ignition. Limp mode is a safe mode of the ECU, the most common reason for this is overboost, where the boost has reached the upper safe setting of the ECU for some reason. Could be a number of things, VAGCOM would be a good idea as it'll narrow down the issue.

Thanks for the reply,

Would it start off in limp mode first thing in the morning?

The car will not start in limp mode, but as soon as you accelerate hard causing high boost then yes it may go into limp mode.

Do you have the jabba boost controller?

Nope,

Jabba just got back to me and said it's common after a remap and that it's probably the throttle bodies needing cleaning and adaptation.
