Happy days on the results steve, gotta be happy with the normal increase without the map with a k03s and blueflame turbo back.

Would be really interesting to see how those figures compare with a run at westec now...

if i went to westec and they said it was 230 bhp i dont care the car drives so diffrent its ace i might go to westec with nick just to peoples minds at rest and see what it makes AS BILL ALLWAYS SAYS DYNO LOTTERY
the proof is on the open road and its defo quicker than it was before IM HAPPY

I want to get my car mapped by jabba but cant justify paying 475 to get it mapped then the tell me oh it took 2 extra hours at 60 so you now owe us £595, im in a dilema now

As long as you're happy with it then thats all that matters, after reading though I think id be a bit annoyed to be charged for extra time when it should be included, after all it is a custom map!

i got charged £450 for a map at mrc , it was meant to be a custom map , but it wasnt , it was just set up on the road , the map is good , and i dont know what sort of figures it is getting , think a trip to westec may solve that ,

Custom... is done by other people too, without having to open up your ecu and solder sockets for emulators etc

Hi bill how much is it to get a custom map? is it set up on a rolling road with before and after figures and also tested on the road.

CC maps on the road datalogging and tweeking.... reflashing as required.
CC HQ have the ability to dyno the finished unit on their dyno so figures (on that particular dyno) can be determined.

For the set of hardware typical on K03s ibiza's for example, they have an array of very good starting points, which combined with channel adjustments can optimise settings to suit.

if its that price then it still might be work going to jabba at £475 inc plus 60 per hour....dilema's....spoilt for choise is one of the main factors lol

the worst bit about buying anything , mapping etc etc , is the vat , bloody goverment , it makes things so expensive when you have added the vat

well jabba is 475 including vat but its the fact that its like giving them an open check book and saying "giz a shout when its done". Could work out costing around £600 to get it mapped, which imo is abit too much. Need to give them a ring i think and ask about this because there has to be a limit in what they can charge.
