I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever experienced these code and if so how they sorted it.

I've recently had the engne management light on so took the car to a local garage who's found two faults
17705 and 17545 - he told me what they stand for but got the impression he wasn't too sure about where to start looking to then sort the fault

Anyone know where the best place to start is so I can point them in the right direction

If this helps I've got a 2001 (y reg) seat leon cupra

17705 P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose
17545 P1137 Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Rich

There are a few things it could be, best to look at the usual stuff like MAF sensor, could be an air leak somewhere causing it to misfuel - hence being too rich.

Seem the best place to start :)

Cheers for that. The garage looking were focusing more on the 17705 P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose thinking that that is like to be causing the other fault. They were saying it’s a fiddly job rather then a big job cause means testing several different hoses etc so going to be quite labour intensive.

Is that likely or is it likely to be one or two hoses we need to check if that’s the problem at all ??

Hi forgot to mention earlier that I also have been experiencing erratic idling at low revs. Not all the time but sometimes I’ll pull up at traffic lights etc and the revs drop right down to a point it feels like the car will stall, then something seems to kick in and the revs jump right up then bounce down and finally settle down. Could this all be connect with the above faults I’ve got ??
