Just a quick question chaps. Is this filter an oiled type? Just kinda ran my fingers across the foam and it felt "sticky" like an oiled filter would -- Which worries me that it could be gunking up my MAF?

It's not oiled. It's a sticky polymer coating. It can be reapplied - if too much was used, there's a risk, but none on a new filter.
Been running mine for a while although my MAF did die shortly after but could be due to my caveman approach to getting the bugget off
