the loom wont need modifying afaik will be the same multiplug connection on the back! just remove the front bumper undo the 3 torx bolts on either lamps and simply swop  then put bumper back on but there is adjusters on the lamps tomake it sit properly to the bumper and the grills so make sure you adjust accordingly!

The only thing that made me think It might need moddfying is on the accesories page for the colour coded headlight, it says for a 1.2 it will need moddifying.

Chears for ya help rash appreciated as always :p. Anyone know the part number and price for the o/s headlamp

IIRC the loom connects directly onto the back of the bulbs

with the single headlamps there is a duel filament bulb with 3 spade conectors and on the duel headlamp there are 2 bulbs with only 2 conectors

so methinks the loom will need a slight mod to split the wires and give both bulbs in the duel headlamp an earth

anyone done this mod ?

not too botherd about paying around £80 for one I got the other one for £40 so not 2 bad mod for the price really, just wiring that might be hard I think. I think people do know how to do it as SEAT say their dealers can do it so it cant be that hard lol

Yep, there's loads on eBay!

You should be able to unplug the headlamps from the loom and try the new ones sitting on the slam panel...saves stripping the front end and finding out they're wrong! I would try it with the one you ordered first, before wasting money on another.

Disc's and pad's are a doddle.

Getting my x gaffer to do my timing belt, fan belt and i'l do the coily's.

Just ive never set them up before and it always helps to know
